We couldn't thank Courtney enough for coordinate our wedding. We first picked her over all the others coordinator because she was the most responsive one out of all. We got in touch with her months before the wedding, and based on her responsive professionalism, we recommended her to one of our friends that is going to have her wedding the next year. We made the right choice. Few weeks prior the wedding, she jumps in and handle all the conversations between vendors for us and she took whatever it takes to make thing happen while save us a few bucks. We also went into trouble with Videographer 4 days prior the wedding and Courtney was able to help us bridge to her contacts and made a last minute vendor change while she handled most of the conversation with the canceled vendor. We didn't make our wedding easy for Courtney to coordinate as we had a 7 hours wedding with actives going on every 45 minutes at a very large venue. She was able to coordinate vendors to and staffs to setup all our decoration and exhibitions without messed up anything. We are truly thankful that we hired Courtney to coordinate our wedding.

Courtney did a fabulous job for our wedding in San Francisco! She helped with selecting and coordinating vendors and setting the day of timeline. Further, she provided amazing feedback and had great, detailed suggestions that made our special day flawless. Admittedly, Courtney kept us on track as well by providing timelines over email, calls, and texts. Day of the wedding, she was present and helpful, which made the day effortless for us, our family and our guests. All 143 of our guests were able to be transported from our ceremony site to the reception venue and enjoyed the decor and activities that happened during the reception. From the beginning, we always felt that Courtney was on our side and helping us maintain our budget - we really appreciate the hard work that she put in through all planning phases. Courtney really did help make our day become a beautiful reality, we would highly recommend her services.

Courtney was truly amazing to work with! From the first time I met her she had a warm, approachable, and genuine spirit. Genuine was the one that most resonated with me. From talking about our budget she was very transparent (unlike others coordinators that I was getting quotes from and felt they were hiding something). As the months got closer to the big day she would ensure to reach out to have us fill out necessary questionnaires to share our vision. She was always timely to answer questions I had. Especially those days that I was having bride anxiety at like 11pm, but low and behold she would respond to my texts very fast or emails. (Very important (not to mention comforting) to have your coordinator respond in a timely manner). Fast forward to month of and week of the wedding. We talked almost every day! (No seriously!). She would ask questions or bring up things that I never even thought of. For example, color of napkins, how do I want them folded for presentation purposes. Like down to those fine details she has the skill and vision for it! Count that covered when she coordinates your wedding. If you have a strict budget she is very resourceful and thinks outside of the box to still come up with Pinterest worthy ideas. Day of wedding, she was flawless with execution of the timeline, payment of vendors, and all in between. Still even finding time to bring rounds of drinks to the bridal party after the ceremony while we took family portraits. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Events by Courtney Ann. Essentially you will have made the best decision of your wedding planning process to hire Courtney!

"When my boss offered his private estate to us the prospect of a destination wedding with 6 months planning seemed like a daunting if not impossible task. Being an event planner in Austin I briefly considered attempting it myself with the help of some “day of” coordination. As the reality of the logistics grew I’m so happy there was someone to not only keep us on track but also mediate our differences, dissolve conflicts and provide overall emotional support. Out of all your wedding expenses a coordinator isn’t a tangible thing your guests will see so your initial thoughts are to spend a little as possible so you can spend more on your big day, but as soon as you realize how integral she is to the overall success of the event you soon realize she’s the most vital and well spent expenditure of the entire proceedings. Courtney’s level of professionalism really came to light through her punctuality. There was never a second when we thought things weren’t being handled quickly and prompt responses were always there. She was also very thorough in her vetting of potential vendors for our day. She found as many options as possible in our price range and provided her thoughts but ultimately left the decision making process to us. Courtney also did so many extra things and personal touches not required in her contract and it really made us feel her vested interest in our happiness. By rehearsal time we had spent so much time communicating we felt like long time pen pals meeting for the first time. Our families welcomed her like one of our own and she reciprocated with feeling that can’t be faked or purchased. Our day of celebrations went of without a hitch thanks to her experience and amazing timeline. She constantly checked on our well-being and happiness of us and our guests throughout the night and quietly put out any fires that occurred. Her ability to do all of this without hesitation shows that she’s not only good at her job but also an amazing person and to have to say goodbye to that had definitely been the hardest part of this entire venture. We’ve made a friend for life and we’re already dreaming up future celebrations to find an excuse to include her in it again"

"Planning a wedding is no easy feat. From the guest list to the decor, there are so many details that can often be overlooked and overpriced. For us, though, one thing we knew that would be extremely important, was having amazing vendors that would not only capture our special moment, but also be a part of our magical day. These vendors would consist of team members - being just as stoked as we were - celebrating all of our love, with us. Courtney was just that. We had done a lot of research on coordinators, and Courtney came recommended from a friend. Not only were her rates competitive, but she embodied the most excitement in the opportunity to be a part of our wedding day - we knew she was the best fit. "Courtney is detail oriented, organized, & can multitask like no other. From the first meeting with Courtney I knew she would make our wedding dreams a reality. She asked all the right questions and paid close attention to my concerns. Throughout the month she kept me on track and handled arrangements/situations I couldn't get to or felt overwhelmed with. The day of the wedding she executed!! We cannot even believe she pulled it off, it was a ton of work! Having a DIY wedding (venue only) and having to bring in each vendor was daunting, I wasn't sure how the day would turn out, but Courtney handled everything, and I mean everything, we even forgot some mixers for our signature drinks, but didn't even know until later that evening because she handled it. We didn't have to worry about one thing. As a bride I couldn't have asked for a better day, it was stress free and I could concentrate on what mattered most, having fun!!! This review is very long overdue. Courtney did a phenomenal job with our wedding back in May at the General's Residence/Presidio and I cannot recommend her enough. She was detail-oriented starting from our very first call and was a trusted advisor throughout the entire planning process. Not to mention, even when I was being an indecisive and difficult bride, she patiently listened and helped me brainstorm on everything from decor to timeline to table settings. And when it came to our wedding day, we were truly blown away from start to finish by how everything turned out. Also, in addition to the very thorough timeline she puts together for couples, she also puts together her own minute by minute timeline for herself, which I thought was very impressive.
What I am most appreciative of though, was how she handled the few hiccups that came up on our wedding day. For us, the main hiccup was a particularly unprofessional vendor who among other things actually lost our wedding bands for a period of time before the ceremony, putting us all in the worst mood. Courtney calmly and swiftly managed that vendor from that point forward, making sure that they completed all remaining tasks while also keeping them at a distance from us so we could have fun dancing and enjoy the rest of the wedding. She did this in addition to managing what I'm sure were a thousand other things.
Overall, I highly highly recommend hiring Courtney. She is fantastic and will be one of the top Bay Area coordinators on this site in no time.
